Died June 19, 2009

Born on December 5, 1931 in Omaha, NE. Raised in Chicago, IL. Graduate of Purdue University (BSME) in 1953; Korean War veteran, 1st. Lt. U.S. Army; earned MBA degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1957. Business career spanned 37 years in heavy equipment sales and distribution of high speed diesel and power generation equipment, mostly in western U.S. Pre-deceased by wife of 32 years, Janice C. (Larson) Bruckner in 1989. survived by son Joseph G. of Omaha, NE., daughters, Jessica A. Nagy of Elkhorn, NE., Jennifer M. Bruckner (aka Obsidian L. DeLeau) of Prescott, AZ.; and wife of 19 years, Sharon (Sher) K. (Benak) Bruckner, step children Jody C. Kudlacz of Omaha, NE., Shelley R. Bailes of Omaha, NE. Juliana (Kudlacz) Krause of Phx., AZ. As well as eight (8) grandchildren, Brett A. and Cory A. Bailes, Jody L. Kudlacz, Taylor N. and Hunter C. Nagy, Elizabeth C. and Anthony J. Bruckner, Thomas J. Kudlacz. Member of TAU BETA PI Assn. (Indiana Alpha), Society of Mining Engineers of AIME, President of Associated Equipment Distributor Chapters in Omaha NE. and Phoenix, AZ., past secretary of Tatum Ranch Community Assn., past
chairman of Phoenix SCORE chapter 105, currently was a board member of Arroyo Springs Community Assn. Services Saturday, June 27 , at 10:00 a.m. Holy Redeemer Cemetary, 23015 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phx.

"H" is for HEAVEN

Hello everyone.

Today is going to be one of the hardest days I've had to face in this journey we call life.

We have all gathered here in Phoenix to say goodbye to my Dad.

Today we are taking him off life support.

It's time for him to go to Heaven!

I'm happy to bring him to the gate.

My dad will be loved and missed by many!

It's time for him to move on, and meet up with family and friends in Heaven!

Most of you know that I try to keep my blog upbeat and positive. No depressing, stressing news.

Prayers Needed!

January 2009

My dad has been in the hospital since April 8th.What was to be a 7-10 day stay has spiraled out of control. Over the weekend they discharged him to an acute care hospital. His medicare had run out. So they were done with him.

He wasn't doing very well while in the hospital the past few weeks. Well he has taken another turn for the worse. He is in ICU and on a wound vac, and a respirator, completely sedated by morphine.

June 2008, mothers day

I am heading down to Phoenix till Tuesday.My brother and sister are coming as well.

Please keep my Dad in your thoughts and prayers.

Taylor and her grandpa have a special bond. This has been really hard on her.She is the first grandchild, first great grandchild and she's the first girl. Lots of boys followed. She's very special to him.

I'm just glad that i am able to go down and see him, for what i hope is not the last time.
