Is there anyone out there?

To blog or not to blog?
That is the question.

Is there anyone out there?

I haven't been blogging for a while.
I have been so busy with my family,
kids graduating, colleges, life.
I know you guys all "get it"

My YOU TUBE channel has been a fun challenge for me. Keeps me busy!

I guess I feel that it really has slowed down with Facebook.

I see and hear from allot of my friends on Facebook.

What do you think?

Are you still blogging?

Let me know.

I think i will keep it up, its been 5 years in the making.

Have a super fantastical week dolls!

Still blogging but have noticed it's been very quiet.
I think there's more communication on facebook and I must admit I spend more time there.

I definitely don't blog or even visit blogs as much as I did a year ago. I'm trying to focus more on living in the moment and concentrating on what is happening around me in "real-time"....I do agree that by quickly checking Facebook throughout the day I can see what my blogging friends are up to and not have to take the time to go from blog to blog.

Plus, I have become a bit disillusioned with so many blogs becoming so commercial. Sidebars full of ads and their posts are reviews of a product that a manufacturer sent them is what I see more frequently on home improvement type blogs that I always used to love visiting.

But,bottom line for me is it is just a time issue...

I'm still trying to keep my blog going. I certainly relate to being busy with family. What I love about blogging is how I've "met" so many amazing people and learned so much. I hope it never goes away! said...

still blogging and miss you blogging!

Hey Sista! You and I have talked about this. Yes, blogging has slowed down alot. FB has changed that....however I still enjoy visiting blogs, seeing close up pictures and the life story behind it. You and I have been blogging the SAME amount of time! 5 years!
Hang in there doll and KEEP blogging!! Even if it's only once or twice a month. ;) Love ya!! xoxo,Jenn

Hi there!
I like blogging because it's closer to the old days of writing a letter...cute stationary and all. Not sure if I would of met cool gals like LuLu or Holly if not for the blog world. It makes me sad to see it kind of going flat. I have no plans on stopping!

By the way...good job on the videos.
I'm going to Ulta WAY more than I used to.

I've been blogging since 2008, just started FB back in Oct. I don't really love FB like I do blogging. I took a bit of time off while I was so busy loving on my new little grandsons, but I'm back to blogging now and intend to stay. I have noticed that being away has really hurt my number of comments I receive, tho. Maybe it'll pick back up. BTW, I'm hosting my annual WEDDING BLOG PARTY on June 8th and would sooo love it if you would join us. Please come read all about it and the giveaway I'm having right now!

Hey I'm still hear and echo everyone else's comments... I don't blog as much as I'd like anymore with just day to day life getting in the way but I wouldn't ever want to stop completely!

Have a fabulous weekend,

I am addicted to reading blogs, and do notice some of my favorites have become almost non-existent, which truly saddens me. I am not a fan of facebook, and to me, FB doesn't replace the personal touches of bloggers. It seems to me that many on FB are in competition to get the most "likes."

Just my personal thoughts.

Do keep blogging!!
I love to see what my favorite bloggers are doing
in their art, travels, classes and so forth!!!!

I love your blog. I don't blog more than a few times a year anymore, but I work full-time. I LOVE catching up on my blog reading and adore yours!!

It's tough... I love my blog and since it has been around for 6 years, I don't want to completely abandon it. But yes, Facebook & Pinterest have sort of taken over a bit. And it's faster to update, check in on everyone etc etc. And yes, it's been very quiet at my blog, too. I wonder what it will be like in a few years? :)

Hi Jessi,

I would say never take it down just because you can't blog or aren't inclined to blog at the moment. Believe it or not, I have been known to read archived posts on blogs that I happen upon and will go far back to get the background. People will still enjoy your blog even if it isn't current and you can always come back when you want to. Your blog is a fun treasure of resources!

I love that FB tells me when someone posts because I forget to look at reader on a daily basis anymore.
